Electricity Costs of Summer Appliances
Figure Out Your Power Usage
Another home/office fan or dehumidifier or air conditioner costs gripe or row? Just do it smoothly. A three speed industrial floor fan using a motor with 1.35 Amps at 120 volts ... Multiply the volts times the Amps ..that's about 205 watts. Then multiply the watts by the Kilowatt factor or divide it - thats about .2 KW. Then multiply that times the rate per Kilowatt ... ie 17 cents times .2 about 4 cents to run that fan per hour.
