James Bond -- 007 highlighted in the TV advertisments this week; is a featured plus seller for six [6] Blue Ray disc editions of James Bond features. COMCAST cable is joining the market interest with an ON-DEMAND [Channel 1] option for six or so James Bond features in HD for $2.99 per rental; and for 'nothing' other than the basic cable on-demand service subscription with the "FREE MOVIES" option; one can view five or six non-HD James Bond films as 'free selections'.

For other 'manhood' et al film fans; "A Few Dollars More" is also a 'freebie' now with COMCAST ON-DEMAND.

Sirius & XM Radio have concluded their merger, and are now managing their resources and radio packages as one company. If you are a subscriber to either or both of them, consolidating them will take a little longer, but their "best" program options are available for a cross supplemental subscription. So, OPRAH etc can be had on a SIRIUS radio by SIRIUS subscribers (imported from XM Radio) and SIRIUS NFL package -- Howard Stern, Playboy Radio & Martha Stewart can be had by XM Radio subscribers for the same supplement.

My preferential staion additionally is the Metropolitan Opera channel, and I would pay a dollar supplement for that alone .. but it is not ready for tht additional delivery yet.

FYI again -- one radio will bring your both or all their offerings soon. See the older full programming merger prospectus published by SIRIUS Radio; and ask for a full frequency xm satellite bands radio.

Just a quick DEBRIEF shameless plug (although non-remunerative) for a good combo. Try the Rhapsody service for Verizon family of mobile phones which feature music players (MP3 players). It uses an ingenuous & thoroughly practicable, sale & rental approach to download musical tracks & albums. Music is rented or purchased at Rhapsody.
In combination with Verizon and other Rhapsody exclusively served firms, musical tracks in MP3 (maybe WMA too) are encoded and loaded into your music player. When not buying, they have a license to play programmed into them for the legnth of your membership --one month or a year. As your player is turned on and used for music-playing, its computer program sweeping reviews all tracks and expels or freezes 'tracks' with expired licenses. The tracks you have stored - those which are owned by you - are untroubled. The entire license to play/listen is part of Rhapsody & Verizon (et al)'s approaches to conserving copyright & paying royalties.

Yes you can buy a track for 99 cents, or an album for as little as $9.99. I am able to store on my Verizon cell phone, which has a music player, as many as 200+ tracks (90% of which I just borrowed with the monthly Rhapsody music library system subscription.). (Your kids can have a hay-day).. The number of computers and music players authorised per account is restricted; and most Verizon sold products are 'bluth-tooth' enabled for playing and enjoying at your personal computer.

And the Rhapsody downloading program can be used at most cafe or library computers without a permanent hard drive storage.

Oh yes, DEBRIEF gave up the onec convenient Boostmobiel mobile internet cell-phone, for a Mobile 2.0 pre-pay Verizon appliance with great service & 95%+ mobile sites acecss; and the old "phone company" coverage. (cf. PhoneScoop for a review of the US Starcom Blitz -- which is sold by Verizon as a pre-pay package at their telephone stires & discount stores like Wal-Mart).

Ask the NCAA! Alien students -- If you saw <a

you caught Lester Holt's piece on the illegal alien in higher education.
Many can be victims of their parents' sin - but are still unlawfully
present aliens. They would also be ineligible athletes in US-NCAA
collegiate competitive athletics. Offending schools would risk an NCAA
suspension and probation. This cannot be a 'sanctuary' matter.
Lawfully present alien students are registered aliens with the US State
Department & US HLS; and again at the school in SEVRIS, a special
further documentation with the US Dept. of Education. Check for the
winning goal[s] after you check the visa!

If you want aliens to participate in higher education - public or
private; then see that it is done lawfully. Assist specially 'worthy'
students with scholarships, and legal aid.
Non-qualificants must be deported, and excused, expelled from the
schools.

And a final reminder -- the alien student acquires a US scholastic
admission first, then aquires a visa from a US Consulate abroad. He
does not get into school, then qualify as an alien student for
employment and 'lawful alien adjustment'. Lawfully working alien
students - even the pizza guy/gal, are admitted lawfully to the USA as
bona fide students with visas first; then are permitted work after they
arrive; (only in their field of study the first year, anything they can
find afer the first academic year of study).

A GREENCARD & VISA SCAM reported in this blog yesterday was referred
last night to -abuse@yahoo.com- ... the FBI ... the USPS Postal
Inspectors ... and to the US State Department.
Any fraud or scam of this nature in the recipient's judgement can be
similarly referenced.
If YAHOO is involved; or PayPal or EBAY, those companies abuse@ or
suspect@ addresses can be the fastest stop. Also notify the local
police if within reasonable distance or time.
The private service providers can intiate a stop & freeze a record ..
the other government agencies can investigate, arrest & recommend
prosecution.
Occasionally, a secondary report of a blog in syndication removes the
blog heading. This second report should clear any doubts about
yesterday's reported scam.
Publicizing an event such as a computer e-mail connected fraud - which
can move as quickly as a computer virus is your option.
