Blogging Tip-Images
Blogging Tip-Images
Any blogger can insert, usually, images into his postings with ordinary html image tags. Some blog hosts permit image uploading (stroing or inserting your hard drive & floppy disk images) - others charge a fee. Blogger & BlogSpot, other than BlogSpot Plus, have moved away from image storing. But you can 'float' an image into your post with the url and HTML image tags; and also into the title. Just insert the correct url space at the end; optionally with with a size variable - ie width=n; and post. Do not be piggy and use fast loading low byte size images. Unless your blog host forbids them. img src=(url of image) width=n in >tags< |

Pardon Tommy Chong
Tommy Chong's Prosecution Is the True Crime
Tommy Chong - the famous comedian, actor, and marijuna cult hero is serving 6 months time in Federal prison, unjustly, for selling marijuana using paraphernalia. Had he merely slipped a piece of paper into his wares or advertising -stating for medicinal use only- or for use outside the USA - he would never have been prosecuted.
Chong is the victim of a vindictive US Justice Department prosecution policy called "Operation Pipe Dreams". Costing millions of dollars to administer in 'the age of high criminal terror risk & ENRON' - these dear public resources went to prosecute a maker and seller of hashish pipes & roach clips. Chong further had the benefit of a pre-existent -no prosecutions merited- US government poicy which dated to the Reagan Administration or before. Ashcroft reversed it. Few examples of Government folly and disservice to the law and its reason exceed this one. For the sake of good law and conscience - move any candidate for public office to pardon Tommy Chong & to reverse the policy. |
